Interview with Mike
I felt I should interview more people who don’t own a website, here is such a interview with someone who is not a webmaster or forum owner.
His name is Mike, he currently works at a office depot, but has desires of doing an other job in the future. Read more about it below.
Could you tell us a bit more about yourself so the readers know who you are?
Mike: Well, my name is Mike. I’m merely just an 18 year old who pretty much just lives to work. I’m really just a typical workaholic. I don’t exactly try to seek things that aren’t necessary in life.
Could you give us a couple of examples of things you feel aren’t necessary in life?
Mike: A significant other. That’s probably the number one. Other than that… fame, drama, massive amounts of friends… that kind of stuff.
What job did you dream of doing when you were a young kid?
Mike: It changed so much…. There were two main choices though. Become a rally car driver or be a storm chaser.
Did you had a chance so far to do either one by just trying it out or do it more often?
Mike: Yes, I’ve had the opportunity to try both.
If you really only could choose one of both, what would it be and why?
Mike: Become a rally driver because it tests everything you have. And it’s the perfect example of how fragile life is. One wrong choice, and you’re gone.
What job did you eventually end up doing? And do you plan on doing this job for the rest of your life? Do you like doing the job?
Mike: Now I work for Office Depot… I’m young, though. I have time to figure out what I want to do. I’m not secluded to my current job. Don’t get me wrong, I do like it, it’s just, I’m exhausted and it doesn’t make me enough money to survive on my own where I live.
What job are you looking for that you would love doing? (And is possible that you will do it one day.)
Mike: Honestly, I cant answer that. I feel as humans, every day our aspirations and dreams fluctuate. For right now, I still could see myself doing either one of my childhood things. However, due to other aspirations and interests, I could see myself being a certified interpreter or become TEFL certified and move to the Czech Republic and teach English.
What attracts you to the Czech Republic? Do you see yourself having a future in that country?
Mike: Yes I do. The language is beautiful; the country is rich with history. I kind of think that is my real home.
What is some of your favorite history of that country?
Mike: Everything of Prague is probably my favorite. I don’t really feel like going too much in detail.
Finally if you could alter your past, what would be 1 scenario you would prevent from happening?
Mike: My dad passing away.
Thank you Mike for doing this interview with me on msn, it was a pleasure. -Max Pen
