(1) Max Pen: What has been the hardest to accomplish in season 2?
Adam Rady:

The hardest thing for us to accomplish for season two was pulling together the resources to do the show on the scale we wanted. We needed everything to be bigger, better, and more epic. Our experiences in creating Season 1 gave us the know how to pull it off, but we didn’t have much in the way of money. That’s where crowd funding and the generosity of our friends, family, and fans came in.

(2) Max Pen: Did you learn anything new from creating season 2? (Regarding production, acting, special effects, stunts, locations, etc…)
Adam Rady:

Every time we pick up a camera we learn something new. Season 1 taught us a lot about creating a show, but one of the most important things it taught us was that there was a TON more to learn. Season 2 built on the basics that we learned earlier. We learned about coordinating a larger crew, we learned about filming with new and different types of equipment that we didn’t have access to in Season 1. We learned what it was like to organize an extended, on location shoot. It definitely gave us a sense of expanding our capabilities and shooting for even bigger next time around.

(3) Max Pen: Will walking in Circles remain a web series or are you gearing towards making it an TV series one day?

Adam Rady:

Whether we stay on the web or transition to a TV format is entirely up to the fan base. We want to continue the story of Krag and his party no matter what, but so far we’ve been really limited in the resources we have access to. If season 2 gets enough support that we could transition to a 22 minute format, we’d LOVE to. At the end of the day, that’s obviously a matter of impressing a network, and we do that by showing them we have a strong following.

(4) Max Pen: What are the major improvements people might or might not notice in season 2 compared to season 1?
Adam Rady:

It is immediately apparent that Season 2 is a higher caliber show than Season 1. We love Season 1, and we always will, but it was our first big project and we made a lot of mistakes. Moving into Season 2, we had access to knowledge, people, and equipment that let us put on a much grander production. Literally from the first scene we bring elements to the table that will blow away fans from season 1 as well as anyone new to the show. Our effects are better, our cinematography is better, we have fights and magic. It’s going to be awesome.

(5) Max Pen: How long will each episode be in season 2 and will there be 11 episodes like in season 1?
Adam Rady:

This season our show format is between 5 and 10 minutes per episode, of which there are 8. We tightened up a bit this season and kept the pace much faster so we have a shorter running time but it’s a heck of a ride.

(7) Max Pen: Will there be much character development? Can you tell us maybe without spoiling anything which character(s) will change the most or go through the most?

Adam Rady:

I can say without a doubt that Garand goes through the biggest transition. His story really drives the story from the first scene. Being the main character, Krag has a lot to deal with as well. He’s going to have to travel some rough territory. Markus will find himself in a position where he actually has to contribute and not just whine about everyone else’s incompetence, and Angie is going to have to test her peaceful nature and really decide how far she’s willing to go to save herself and her friends.

(8) Max Pen: Can you introduce us to what new characters will be present in season 2?
Adam Rady:

We have a whole host of awesome characters in store for you guys in Season 2. If you are interested in learning about them further, just subscribe to our youtube channel, we are releasing behind the scenes specials on several new characters leading up to the release every Tuesday. http://www.youtube.com/user/WICTheSeries

(9) Max Pen: What can you tell us about the release date? (That is planned for august 27th.)
Adam Rady:

The official release date for WIC Season 2 is Tuesday, August 27th. However, to anyone attending Gen Con Indianapolis, we are holding a special screening of ALL 8 EPISODES for free. So, if you’re planning on going to Gen Con, we are hosting our screening on Friday, August 16th at 10:00am. There will be a Q&A afterward with some of the actors and crew from the show.

Thank you for doing this interview with me Adam. I enjoyed your replies to my questions and season 2 seems to be the best we can get! -Max Pen
